Parish Waste Reduction Program strategic plans at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH), Grove City, OH
This PDF copy of a powerpoint presentation contains the plans generated by the Creation Care Council of OLPH to launch a waste reduction program that has since become quite successful. Various levels of detail are contained in the slides, within a congregational creation care team meeting format; the planning process and details here can be helpful to similar efforts in other places. Note that the grant that this presentation mentions hoping to apply for was successfully gained (for $2000) to provide signage and other infrastructure to greatly empower this project. -

She blends studies in Human Ecology at Stanford, graduate work in Indigenous Pedagogy, and the traditional worldview she grew up with to inform her music, perspectives and solutions. Her current doctoral research focuses on Indigenous food systems revitalization. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community." -

The world is our host: A call to urgent action for climate justice
Anglican Bishops from around the world discuss various environmental complications resulting from climate change. They provide a list of initiatives of commitment that they have pledged as a church, some of which include strengthening collaboration among partners, developing and distributing educational resources and liturgical materials, and strengthening of ethical investment guidelines. They also list actions that individuals can take to support their mission. -

That image meant a lot because it['s] often a place I enjoy going and every year during Earth Day the community gathers and cleans up and [tries] to look out for the earth. -
