Title: Recycling Program at St Francis of Assisi, Columbus, OH
Description: St Francis of Assisi has maintained a recycling program for the parish for many years. In the parish hall, there are three different colored bins to separate out paper, plastics, and metals. In the church parking lot, there is one bin for garbage and another bin for recycling. They have been working with Republic Services, Inc. to haul away recyclables and other waste. Through their contract, Republic currently accepts aluminum, glass and plastic items if each are bagged separately and placed in the recycling bin. Republic also provides contracts that allow for recyclable items to be collected all together.
