Profile: Reverend Mitchell C. Hescox
The Reverend Mitchell C. Hescox is the current President/C.E.O. of The Evangelical Environmental Network (EEN) and a member of National Association of Evangelicals Board of Directors. Reverend Mitchell's passion for creation care work, in particular the environmental life threatening impacts on the poor and defenseless, can be felt through his speeches across the nation. He was even named one of the ten Environmental Religious Saints by the Huffington Post.

Topic-related publications include the following: co-author of Creation Care: The Evangelical’s Guide to Climate Change and a Healthy Environment with Paul Douglas, contributor to Sacred Acts: How Churches are working together to Protect Earth’s Climate by New Society Publishers, and author of numerous other publications. Additional accolades of Reverend Mitchell include the following: testifying before Congress; appearing on CNN, NPR, PRI and numerous Christian and secular radio programs; leading both the 300 mile Creation Care Walk from West Virginia to Washington, DC and the 80 mile Gulf Coast Prayer Walk during the Deep Water Horizon Oil Spill; leading EEN to successful championing of the Mercury and Air Toxics Standards; and guiding the EEN team to inspire comments for various rules and regulations.
