The Church World Service was founded after World War II as several denominations formed the organization to provide relief. Created in 1947, the Church World Service collaborated with several other organizations to create the Christian Rural Overseas Program (CROP). Since then, The CWS has grown and served numerous communities and people in need. They are advocates for clean water and nutrition and supporting the environment and communities against climate change. Ways to get involved are on their website, such as the CROP hunger walk, and other ways to donate.
