Description

Thomas Berry was a historian, theologian, and environmental advocate. Coining himself a "geologian," he recognized the connections between human's and the Earth's evolution. Through his studies of human and Earth history, Berry called for the return of human connections to nature through spirituality, often using ideas from cosmology. A Passionist himself, Berry urged all world religions to embrace changes toward a modern world in order to take action on environmental issues, to protect the world we live in.
