Laudato Si’ Gardens in Schools and Institutions across ItalyThe Living Chapel is expanding outreach for Laudato Si' Gardens to spaces managed by schools, governmental and non-governmental organizations encouraging participation in caring for our common home by supplying indigenous young plant species to various regions. This project distributes young plants throughout Italy for the recovery of degraded areas. Outside Italy, Laudato Si’ Gardens shared a Four Element Package that symbolizes Air, Earth, Water, and Fire.

FORUM2020: Science, Spirituality, the Climate Emergency and Our FuturePresented by The Temple of Understanding, this two-day event features over forty international speakers including Indigenous leaders, religious and spiritual visionaries, and youth environmental activists. The Forum will consist of three 30-minute panels addressing climate emergencies and action plans. The first panel is the "State of the Earth Panel" and addresses climate from different perspectives. The second is "Women in Leadership on the Environment Panel" and the third is "Intergenerational Wisdom & Our Future Panel" where action-based programs will be discussed. "Over forty international speakers will be offering their wisdom and perspectives through keynote addresses, diverse panels, inspiring prayers and sacred music at FORUM2020 online"

Groups are able to create plans for their future interactions with the environment in connection to their religion. The growing website allows users to easily share ideas within INCR and elsewhere.

How Buddhist monks in Ladakh are fighting climate changeBuddhists Monks in the Himalayas are taking a stand to climate change. On Earth Day 2018, thousands of people came together in the village of Yerat to plant trees. The region is rapidly losing glaciers, causing a shortage in water supply to the villages in the area who rely on snowmelt for water. The volunteers were inspired to participate due to their devotion to His Holiness Kyabgön Chetsang Rinpoche and his vision for "a more verdant and organic Ladakh."

Overpopulation and the Lifeboat Metaphor: A Critique from an African WorldviewMany scientists have warned that the earth is nearing overpopulation or has already reached its carrying capacity. Garret Hardin proposed the lifeboat ethics metaphor to address this crisis and proper resource distributions. Learning Exchange Workshop of Faith for Earth InitiativeThe Faith for Earth Initiative held a learning exchange workshop to open a conversation between 43 representatives from faith based organizations, governments, and the United Nations on the topic of the environment and faith. The three day workshop had the goal of giving leaders the resources to turn goals into environmental actions through a series of programs designed around youth and women, growing trees, and governance and policy. On the last day of the project, 5 trees were planted to symbolize the 5 continents involved coming together.

How do we Communicate Environmental Ethics? Reflections on Environmental Education from a Kuwaiti PerspectiveDr. Khadija al-Naki, an educational researcher, discusses Islamic thought in relation to environmental education. Comparing Islamic teachings with Western environmental ethics, al-Naki opens a conversation on how to develop an environmental curriculum in Islamic education systems.
